COMPETITIONS

Each section offers a comprehensive range of competitions for members throughout the year.

MENS SECTION

During the summer season (April 1st - October 31st) there are monthly weekend Stableford and Medal competitions along with midweek competitions during the summer months. The results from these weekend competitions go forward to the Order of Merit award.

We also have a range of 'Board' competitions, normally one a month.  These are the prestigious competitions played for long standing trophies and the honour of having your name on the 'Boards' in the clubhouse. To play in a Board competition you must have played in at least three medal or stableford competitions at Stratford Park in the last year. The Trophies can be viewed in the cabinet in the Clubhouse.

The Club Champion weekend is a highlight of the season when we play 36 holes over two days with the Club Champion being the lowest gross score.

We have summer match play knock out competitions with both singles and pairs competitions.

We also play competitive matches against 12 other local clubs in the Avon League. If you are interested in joining the Avon League squad you can sign up by going to COMPETITIONS>MATCHES and then select the Avon League squad, or you can contact the Avon League Captain Neil Wilson on  07935171635.

We have an annual Presentation Evening in November when all of the Cups and Awards are presented.
